Pullwinding
The pullwinding technology differs from traditional pultrusion in the way the transverse reinforcement glass fibers are incorporated into the product, generally a tube. Whereas in traditional pultrusion this reinforcement consists of mats or woven cloth, in pullwinding it is created by winding fiberglass filaments around a fiberglass roving core. After polymerization of the resin matrix in a heated die, a profile with superior stiffness is obtained thanks to the double winding of the fibers.
