Electrical profiles
Profiles for the electrical supplies industry are used in dry-type electrical transformers, coils, and electrical motors.
Depending on their section, they are used to protect the core edges (corner pieces) or are arranged at regular intervals on the faces of the core (dog bone). They provide support and electrical spacing for the windings while ensuring adequate ventilation channels.
Their main advantage is their excellent electrical insulation, making them the ideal product for use in electrical equipment handling high current loads. These profiles also meet Thermal Class F or H ratings (operating temperatures of 155°C and 180°C respectively) depending on the polymer matrix.
The profiles can also be produced in halogen-free formulations with UL 94 V-0 flammability rating.
All products meet the requirements of the European Directive RoHS 2002/95/EC regarding hazardous substances content.
Our electrical technology profiles undergo extensive laboratory testing to ensure that they satisfy the stated technical specifications. Top Glass keeps a broad range of these profiles in stock to ensure swift fulfillment of customer orders. Profiles can also be custom cut prior to packaging.
All our products are clean and smooth, do not release fiberglass residues when touched, and do not require the use of protective equipment during handling, making them very easy to install.
These products are completely maintenance-free.
